COSTA RICA – LA TRINIDAD – CENTRAL VALLEY
Nestled in the Central Valley, the La Trinidad community benefits from Costa Rica’s volcanic soil, high altitudes, and a strong sense of community. The smallholder farmers work collaboratively to grow and process their coffee, fostering a sense of shared purpose and commitment to quality. Located at altitudes of 1200-1800 MASL, where cool temps & misty mornings contribute to the slow maturation of the coffee cherries. This slower growth allows the beans to develop complex flavor profiles.
The farmers prioritize sustainability, employing environmentally friendly practices to protect the region’s biodiversity. Native fruit- bearing trees provide habitat for wildlife and enrich soil.
