This delicious Sumatran is certified Fair Trade Organic. Grown in the Gayo Highlands, this Wet-Hulled coffee comes from farms just slightly over 1 hectare in size. This coffee comes from the women coffee producers subgroup. A price premium is paid directly to the women above and beyond the quality premium.
A combination of Catimor, Timor, Bor Bor, and Ateng varietals, it is incredibly clean in the cup for a fine, full-bodied Sumatran. It is depulped, fermented underwater for 12 hours, & pre-dried before Wet-Hulling.
Cupping notes include : Mild fresh coffee cherry, woody, and earthy flavors with good acidity.
