Description
ORGANIC NATURAL ANAEROBIC ETHIOPIAN GUJI – GUYO HAMBELA – GRADE 1
Guji, a beautifully forested area in southern Ethiopia, was once considered part of Sidama. Coffee here is grown at very high altitudes (2000-2400 MASL), setting this profile apart from neighboring regions.
Guyo Hambala is surrounded by deep forests. Their anaerobic natural coffee is the product of an extraordinary process that accentuates complex flavors and elevates the coffee’s natural sweetness. This is a coffee that tells the story of its environment, from the red clay soils of Guji to the meticulous craftsmanship of Ethiopian farmers.
The Cup: Cooked blackberry, cocoa, spices, and cooked cranberry flavors with winey acidity and mild sweetness.
